The Portrait of Brazil, the work is characterized by various regions of the country. The main part of the work is characterized by the northeast of Brazil, by the cordel (northeastern couple Lampião and Maria Bonita) is deeply moral, derived from the medieval Catholic tradition, in which the clash between Good and Evil occupies a prominent place.
